Wheel Bearing .....
« on: 18 January 2007, 09:52 »
Hi all i ordered 2x wheel bearing kits off ebay last week and they have arrived today, my problem is that i think there the wrong ones. I got them cheap and made the mistake of not asking for a part number. They were advertised as being for a vr6 1993 and this is what i needed. They are from GSF and the number on the side of the box says 41311k but on checking the GSF website it says that all the gti mk3s and vr6 use 41224k can anyone help dose any one know if i can use these bearings or will i have to send them back. Alink to the GSF page is below..... :embarassed:

Yea i thought it was wrong but thought id ask  looks like they are going on ebay or parts for sale on the forum. I really have had enough of ebay at the moment i used to use it a lot and never had any problems but as of late i keep getting pi**ed around buy buyers and sellers. This guys advert clearly stated mk3 vr6 1993 wheel bearing kit. As i said yes i should of checked the part nos but why advertise it as something its not..... :embarassed:

Bulk, I have totally given up with ebay.

Stuff is always wrong, not fitting.

Had a bunch of stuff lately like that - well p***es me off

Nice motor by the way
