door light swith!

 ??? Hello people, on my mk4 the switch has got nackered and so it finks the door's open. this means lights constantly on and the alarm doesnt come on!!! Does anyone know where the switch is???

Just to let everyone know, iv found where the damn switch is. Its part of the lock and so the whole lock barrel must be replaced if the switch goes. Its the third switch (brake too) ive had to change on these SUPPOSEDLY quality VW's. My first car (embarrased to say) had less itty bitty problems than this car!!!!!  :-X

mk4's are electrical nightmares, thats coming for a fella i know who works for VAG and has changed 180 lock barrels because the deadlocks stay on!!

180 on the isle of man aint bad going!!

thats not 180 mk4's but all the other's such as A3's bora's etc!
