audi tt turbo replacing standard golf turbo (POSSIBLE)

Does the ko4 turbo off of the audi tt fit directly onto the golf 1.8t as a direct replacement or are any mods needed, also what sort of improvments will you be gaining by doing this.. cheers

pretty sure its almost a bolt on thing. U may need the TT or a3 manifold! the K04 should be good for 270-300 with the right injectors and mapping

You will also need Downpipe, manifold, turbo inlet pipe and possibly coolant and oil lines of a TT S3 or LCR, and i wouldn't expect anymore than 280 hp.
