at the moment, the gti's road fund licence is one of the highest brackets,being not the greenest of cars, does it mean with all this climate change thats on the news , we are gonna be put in the 4x4 gas gusler bracket and be priced off the road??

I actually chose the GTI over the R32 in a slight nod to being more environmentally friendly - albeit a small one!
A recent survey in the US over a long period of time (although I cannot remember the exact source so may quite slightly incorrectly) looked at the environmental impact of cars in their entirity, not just emissions (e.g. where parts came from, how they were manufactured etc, even how far the assembly workers had to travel to work). Range rovers absolutely thrashed cars like the Prius. Will try and find the full article.
