If you feel you need to use stuff like that then I'd say you have problems!

But why not just try tightening up the connectors??????
They should be tight metal to metal at each joint anyway!

When i got the car it came with a scorpion back box but i know there was something not right cause it didn't sound as t should do Ive had them before. So on a closer look i saw the pipes where leaking from every join like where the clams goes and stuff also the worse gap was on  downpipe was not really joined to the cat pipe section it just kinda of sat together i could squeeze a finger in the gap so i done what i could  as a short term fix bit of gungum and some of their bandage stuff. but its vibrated loose again so it defiantly needs redoing.i tried to tighten what i could but i guess it wont cut it. just looking for some good tips on products to use thanks

Well thats it spent the last 4 hours on the floor laying on my back had the car on jacks and them little ramps. Took all the exhaust off  cleaned it up use sand paper at  the jointing bits and resealed it all back hopefully its done the job. I love the sound of the car when its got no exhaust sounded like a few Harley's  where on my drive way
