Im changing my fuel filter on sunday and need to know if the petrol is going to be pissing out while i do it. The car is a 16v mk2 and im not sure if it will piss out because the fuel pump wont be working because the ignition wont be on.

it may leak any fuel in the lines connecting to the filter, think tahts it, not much at all, may be wrong as mine aint a gti and im going by mine

changed mine recently, as long as u apply pressure to the hoses so liquid can't flow u will be ok, oh yeah use a ventilated area coz i replaced it in the garage and it stank it out
