I had it with my Gti but have not gone for it with my R32 as I didn't  think it was worth the paper it was written on,  It only covers fair wear and tear ( open to interpretation one thinks). I had the tyre policy included and Unfortunately got a puncture on the A23 down to Brighton.  I stopped as soon as it was safe to do so on the hard shoulder and changed my tyre  I contacted VW Finance and they didn't want to know as running over a nail was my problem ( 197 quid for a new 18'' Continental ).  I would just use your car and enjoy it although that means you don't have to abuse it and thrash it 100% of the time!  Do you think VW Finance is there as a non-profit making organisation? No I didn't think so it's there to make money at the expense of us!

Well with the tyres it's not included as thats just a wear and tear issue, so you pay to replace them yourself when worn.  But for the Service and Maintenace I think i've found ou the answer to my own question,

I pay £15.94 a month for both included,  that equals to £191.28 a year , but as i've signed up for 3 years in total for the ownership of the car to which i think I may keep it for,   thats £573.84 in total.  And remember this also covers the need to replace brake pads disks and other things, so you can imagine what the price of service would be if you paid for it in cash when the car needs to go into service. Also it covers for breakdowns, if it was to ever happen so you get all that for the price.

Now I've hear people say that that they pay something like £200 odd for a service, so its actually is cheaper.  Even the stealers where saying its not a money making thing, if you do it this way it does actually work out less,  I can't remember the actual price of a service but it was over 200 quid!
