Oil Pressure Light

The Oil Pressure Light on my girlfriends MK1 Cab  flashes randomly I have had the engine pressure checked and that is fine. Aparrently they also have an audable buzzer if there is a problem with the pressure it will sound.....is this true and any ideas on the flashing light?????

Do you mean the red light on the temperature gauge ? If so then welcome to the world of dodgy sensors ! The light may flicker on if your coolant level is below the minimum mark so check that, if that's ok then as long as the oil temp on the MFA display is within level (not greater than 130+ but you should never get close to that.  :shocked: ) so it should run around the 96 - 110 mark normally, but dont worry if it gets higher as I've seen mine at 116, and as long as the temp gauge is just before halfway then you should be ok.

My cab has random flashes from the this light and I've just bought a Rallye that does the exact same thing.

Mine sometimes flashes when I go over a bump in the road!!  :laugh:
