G60 roll bar is apparently thicker

also you can get a 23mm roll bar of a cordoba or ibiza - cant remember which model exactly though

i've read thats its better just to get neuspeed one on the back and leave the front as is, but manufacturers always bang on about thicker anti roll bar, but dont put one on the back.

so do i just get thicker at front and leave back, or get one at the back and leave front????

generally rule of thumb

uprated front anti roll bar will increase understeer
uprated rear anti roll bar will increase oversteer

so you want a healthy balance

on my old 16v i had both eibach front & rears and loved it

on my current 16v i have only the rear eibach roll bar and dont love it as much!!

ARBs....

Some people recommend removing front arb altogether and leaving the rear on to give a more neutral too rear bias. But I'd only do this for track use or if you are used to a rear bias. You could get dramatic lift off oversteer!

Good for fast road use is the matched Eibach set apparantly, not adjustable but suited to road use.

Thicker than Eibach is Neuspeed, and these are adjustable.

Thicker again is H&R, also adjustable. although more suited to track use.

Go too stiff and you will get alot of uncomfortable side to side movement over broken roads.

Adjustable bars a better idea for track use, as you need access to a track to set them up correctly really, so not so good just for road use.

... it's turned into a fashion show for poofters.
