I have a mk2 golf driver 1991 90 spec. For some reason behinf the drivers chair on the back carpet only on drivers side the carpet is wet not mega wet but damp I aint surre why. Its only recently started doing it so any help wud be great. My bf recons iot cud be the door but as i say never done it before.

simple way is to get your boyfriend to pour water (via hose) onto the window while you sit in the car watching for where the water comes in
