Green gearbox plug
« on: 28 August 2006, 19:02 »
I've lost the green plug that goes in the timing check hole on top of the gearbox and while I realize that this isn't the end of the world I would like to get one a.s.a.p, does anyone know if they are still stocked by VW or what I'm really getting at is does anyone on here have a spare that I can have if I cross your palm with silver

Oh well I've ordered one now and it was 81 p plus VAT so I think I can live with the cost, while I was there I ordered the gearshift alignment tool and that was £7.12 incl VAT so b@ll@cks to buying one off egay

I've seen a few things on ebay that people describe as no longer available or very rare and in some parts of the country this may be the case but its allways worth a phone call or two because you may be able to find a genuine part quite cheap
