If your going to do a 2 lamp conversion, to ensure a clear main beam upgrade the loom just  the same as you would upgrade for dipped beam

What do you mean by uprgrading the loom?  Do you mean the whole loom?  This is starting to sound like a faf. :laugh:

No its not that big a job, some one on here sells ( or use to sell) the looms or make one up yourself.
Click on the link below for full instructions, although the link is for dipped headlights, just follow the same guidelines but switch the dipped wire for the main beam wire and hey presto.

If you are going to convert i suggest you carry out this for both dipped and main beam, the difference is surprising

Dizzie used to make them. Basicly they get the power direct from the battery and yes it does improve the brightness of your lights. No essential though.
