my golf gti mk 3 1997 wont start there is a funny noise coming from a small unit just under the suspension turret in the engine bay that has the fuel pipe connected to it the car is turning over fine just not firing any ideas the unit is a small cylinder type about 10cm in size made of plastic with a small disk at the bottom and made of plastic and has a ticking nose comming from it which i never noticed before
