hi i got Gti 8v cam for my 1.6 driver i got the cam and the pully and ive been told i need something else to make it work but im not to sure what i need
could anybody shead some light.

that should be it mate .... maybe a new tensioner and cambelt would be good?

Nope total rubbish, you have everything you need right there
The only thing it could be is if the cam is a hydo tappet model and the head has a solid tappets, or the other way round.
