So it cut out as soon as you pressed the brake pedal? Have you noticed the brakes have been a little dodgy since this started happening?
Not really mate. They work very well, i think due to the fact the prev' owner had 280mm black diamond discs fitted. Sometimes it will happen in traffic jams, go to pull away and she just cuts out on me. I have drilled the side of my airbox, wing side not engine side with 8 x 6mm holes. Also checked for any splits in hoses and all is ok. The jubilee clip the holds the hose onto the throttle body housing, kind of a big wierd shaped jubilee is not ultra tight as when i try to make it ultra tight it clicks then becomes loose again!! Once done up the hose wont pull off though.
