Ghost in my garage
« on: 26 June 2006, 08:52 »

The valver's gone, sold it yesterday...... moving to rented while we find a new house... nowhere to park or store it........
Will be out of it for at least six months......
Still on the up side..... We're hoping to get a new house with a big garage/shed/outbuilding so I can work on cars properly, come March I'll be looking for another golf..... maybe a nice Mk3    ..... or perhaps a mint Mk2 8v for a change   :undecided:
I'm off to have a looooooong sulk now.

I feel for ya mate, its always hard to let go. When you've put so much love, effort and money into something, its like losing a bit of yourself, or a loved one. "Trouble and Strife" certainly describes my 8v

At least your next motor will have a lovely home, unlike mine stuck out in a dodgy car park 150 yards from a dodgy yoof club  :undecided:

Good luck with finding a new place, I found mine on rightmove.co.uk. You know you want a MK2  And I might be shifting mine around that time. Not very mint though!
