can anyone tell me what bits i need to allow my external door handles to work without squeezing the blood  out of my fingers

jsut get a replacment one from ECP for a ?10 or so. and just swap over the lock barrels on them.

take it off and have a look (2 screws), you'll find the spring on the existing handle has rusted & seized over time.

i had this on mine when i first got it

on my passenger side handle you have to pull it really hard to open it. some people (girls mostly) have trouble getting in. where as the drivers side one works perfectly.

lol at Dizzie, my bird moans about that on my car on a daily basis. I took it off the other day and fiddled about with the insides, works better now although not perfect, guess I will have to put up with the ear bashing until I can be arsed to change it  ::)
