guys my mk3 GTi 8v needs the front brake upgraded, back have been replaced with new discs pads etc. The front need more bite - compared with my scooby.
What is and easy bolt on swap - maybe from an Audi or Seat?? I am new to the VW scene. What fits???
Thanks for advice.

What age is it? The later ones used the brakes off the VR6, 288mm IIRC. There is a post about it a few rows down.

The discs should be 280mm anyway, 288 if it's a late spec
You can upgrade to 312mm TT brakes but not sure if it's worth it on an 8v
Maybe try some pagid pads or EBC greenstuffs?
