Thats a model by a company called NOREV I think. Only available in white. Smaller ones are available from VW

Thanks... Wardinho is right, the car is made by NOREV and was bought from ebay. They pop up there quite often and cost me about £30... saying that it is only a model for show as I found out when I let the little one play with it and she snapped off both the front mirrors after 30 minutes and I accidently ripped off the front tyre while showing her how a GTI corners    Another one is on order and this time its going straight to the mantlepiece.

I also got the NOREV white gti 1/18 for my B-Day.
They also do 1/43 in red and silver.
Cost about 20£ in Belgium, but is hard to find.
