what oil

hi what oil will i need to use in my mk2 golf gearbox i got a 1.6 driver. i was going to check out my oil level in my gearbox tomorrow to see if that will help the problem if gears poping out.

also is the guide here ok for a mk2 driver.

i think any sort of decent grade transmission fluid. i'd say gsf for motor oil, so worth a try??
