rattle at 2100rpm

noticed over last coupel of days i geta faint rattle noise coming from the drivers side of the car it does this in 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th gear at approx 2100 rpm once u get beyond this figure or below its absolutely perfect, its an 02 plate se TDI with 37k on the clock any help pls post thanks and happy easter

it's not your stereo is it? mine rattles odd bits do as car vibrates?!? is it an internal or external rattle?

its not stereo its def a external rattle mite be comign from exhaust but i think thats on the left side

all you can do mate is get somebody to rev it and u go underneath with a torch and try an locate the issue....

More than likely your middle exhaust bracket, they always snap on the MK4, it is above a crossmenmber so without a ramp it is difficult to see, It can be fixed with a large jubliee clip, but will be a damn sight easier on a ramp, Can't explain how to do it, but it will all become clear when you get under the car with a tourch
