I swapped the dash on my 8v, and now the indicators and wipers don't work. I know I bent the stalks a lot when doing this as first tried to do it without removing them (don't try this at home!). The indicator stalk seems OK, but maybe something is now wrong with it. The green led on console is on faintly when I turn the ignition on, then goes on full brightness constantly when the indicators are on iether way. Hazards work though
With the wiper stalk, a load of springs and connectors flew out and tried to bodge them back together but wipers don't work now, can use the washers though.
Basically, do I need new stalks? I live in St Albans, if anyone can sort this out for me this week I would pay as I need the car desperately as I'm meant to be moving this week.
