My new acquisition is a '91 1.6 Driver with a few minor issues to be resolved.
The first is that the driver's window won't wind up and down. It is firmly stuck in the up postion. I've taken the doorcard off and the cable is still there but neither the handle nor the glass won't budge more than about 3mm.
Do I need a new regulator?
2nd question. I need a new back box as the baffles have disintegrated inside it making it sound a bit Barry. Will a standard 1.8 GTi back box fit a standard 1.6 system?
