Fuse & Wiring Question
« on: 01 April 2006, 21:20 »
HI, I was wondering if anyone in the forum had any idea about the connector type on the back of the fuse box?

I was trying to sort my cruise control earlier today and one cable didn't come out as planned, some piece of metal is still in the fuse area.

Also, is it ok to extend a piece of wire if necessary?  How would be the best & neatest way of going about this?

Thanks

I'm no expert on fitting cruise control but generally with wiring it would not be a problem to extend a length of wire provided you use wire that is not of a lighter gauge.

I prefer to use the connectors that are of the male and female type that you crimp onto the wires - these are generally quite reliable.
