My 1990 8v keeps snapping V belts.
The belts i buy are definatly the right ones and I'm not over tightening them but the belt seems to sit low in the alternator pully.
Is this normal?
The teeth on the belt aren't worn so its not actually touching the bottom of the pully.
Also today when I was going to work the alternator light was flickering at me when I stopped at juctions!
But went off once I was moving!
Any ideas?
