Brake lines

can any 1n tell me , if i have 4 or 6 lined ,brake lines on my , mk2 16v (H plate) 1990 3dr  plzz , as i want 2 buy braided hoses as my car goes squu wiff under hard braking

I think its the 6 line one you need but if your car isn't braking evenly i doubt this would sort it.  It would improve brakes but would still brake unevenly.

Would be worth checking to make sure all your pads/discs are of even wear and within tolerances, and also that your calipers are all operating efficiently.

I thought all GTI's used the 6 line set, because of the rears?

yeah my car brakes unevenly , becuase ive got 1n braided hose on 1n side and a piece of sponge on the other , just want 2 buy 2 new 1ns , but not sure if its a 4/6 line but ill try the 6 line under tt5th,s advice and if they dont fit then ill send em back thx

venom motorsport do cheap black diamond ones.. im looking to get some as well.. goodridge ones are bit more expensive....
