Fuse help
« on: 14 February 2006, 14:23 »
I've been reading a few posts on here today and found one that tells you where your fuse panel is.

I opened it up today and had a look at it, I don't have a card that telss you what fuse is what or a handbook. A lot of the fuses have numbers on them I guess the amp? many are upside down not sure if this matters ?

I noticed something which might be of help to me regarding my bootlight (might be a missing fuse) the slots numbered 16 and 17 does anyone know what type of fuse goes here and what there use is ?

also bear with me here from the top left count 4 along that fuse is missing to ... what fuse should be here and its use ?

god knows what they do so any help would be great, shame I dont have the user manual would  :undecided:

cheers

fuse 16 is for air conditioning radiator fan(10 amp), fuse17 is not used.
it doesn't matter which way round the fuse is, it will still work.

its not uncommon for there to be fuses missing as it maybe for something that your car doesn't have i.e. heated seats, auto box  etc.

sorry i can't help you with the other problem as i can't work out which fuse you mean. I'm only guessing but are the fuse numbers not marked on the reverse of the panel you remove for the fuses?? i would look myself but 'the wifes' got the car 2day.
