Hi, was driving up my driveway today and my geabox got very loose, it feels likeits not connected as it is very loose and doesnt go into gear at all it feels like something has disconneted but what?? Thanks

Check out the maintenace section at the top of the MK2 forum, theres a gear linkage FAQ post. From your description I'm thinking the relay shaft ball has disintegrated or fallen off

i will second that. Although you can still drive with no ball, so to say. I should know, ive had no ball for years now.

get to your scrappy and nick a ball off a MK3, will fit in your pocket and shouldn't have much wear
