Long time down?
« on: 14 October 2007, 09:35 »
Hi there its been awhile since i last posted anything around here and since gone iv had to put up with an R reg escort estate and an S reg escort so its not good! anyway still got my Atlas gray golf but with head gasket gone its staying in the garage unless i really have to sell it! anyway im now looking to buy another MK2 golf and i need some help.

First im going to be spending a good 1500 on it so i want well looked after and good service history, but what kind of reliablity will i get? my last two golfs were nothing but problems but they were cheap to buy. Looking for a H or J reg 16 valve and would like to know if i spend this much and wait to find a good one will it be okay for a daily driver?

And last for all if the mk2 isnt good enough for the daily runner i may get a mk3 GTi, but i really dont want to so any help would be great!

Cheers Robin.
