just realised i ordered the gear linkage repair kit, is it worth gettin the gear lever repair kit aswell, seeing as im going to be taking exhaust apart to get the gear lever housing out. or is this what i should have bought in the 1st place, any ideas what the kit consists of??

Is any one using those TSR gear linkage kits adj roller type? Thinking of changing as mine bit knochy cos using -50% short shift with weighted rod. just want to make it bit smoother.

thats the gear linkage repair kit i got, and iv got those 2 pins left and 2 of those 4 bushes that are the same?

Aye there always seems to be 2 left for some reason!  Not really worth replacing the 2 link rods unless you get uprated ones, new uns will be the same.

The gearlever repair kit is pretty easy to do, just fiddly.  You don't need to take the exhaust off either, once the heat shield is off theres plenty of room.
The way to tell if it needs doing is to simply pull upwards on the stick, if it has any play then it needs replacing.  Did mine a few months ago and the stick doesn't move at all, and makes 1st/reverse much better even after you've replaced all the bushes :)
