weber idle

wheres the idle adjustment on a weber? its the replacent for a 1600, i found one screw on the right but i think thats the mixture as it doesnt appear to do much, i cant find the other one....

out of interest... should a weber have an earth...cause mine hasnt and all my other ones had one?

as u look at the engine, look at the front of the carb and there should be a quiet big screw/bolt with a spring on it, to the bottom left side, of the front, i think anti clockwise lowers the idle

also, not sure on the earth as webers have no electrical connection, allthough i did attach one between the carb and a rocker cover nut

if i had the idle screw out too far would my car run sh!t, obviously not idleing but when driving along in gear? cause i fiddled with that screw and its now its really spluttery and wont idle and when driving along its jumpy,

possibly, and yes it should have an earth otherwise the carb heater wont work :)

ah, well there isnt one on it, oh well, good thing im getting a new one i guess
