Spray Painting!!!!!!

hey all
just a quick question.....i will be doing some work on the old dub this weekend and i was wondering  can i leave the primer i will get it sprayed with on for the time being and drive around like that.....it wont affect it will it i just want to get the work done then think about a total re-spray.....pink or something?????????

Primer is porous so will soak up water like a sponge if it rains, as far as I know hardcor3 is the man to speak to :)

You can respray parts of a car in a day if you really want too. (A whole car if you have the facilities) Just prime it up then lay down a few coats of colour. Will be tickety boo.  :cool:

hey
i was going to get rid of a rust spot on the back side of my o/f front wheel arch........ I'm going to sand it down and the like its just i was thinking that if i pay to get it sprayed it will be a waste because when iv done all the work to the body I'm going to get a complet reapray. so in the mean time i was going to base coat it and leave it.....is it OK to do this and drive round with just the base coat showing?????

yeah probably..... you see loads of car around with primered arches and wings etc.....
