A Few Questions

The bit to remove in order to fit fron fog lights on a big bumper is referred to as the 'Apron' on Figure 6.9 if you follow this link.

Its not on big bumpers anyway so fine to remove. I took mine off no hassle.

I did have a look on the car today, which is a genuine big bumper model, and it wsnt on there, but i couldnt really see properly, is there something else holding it all together?? I still cant see how the radiator support will stay there without it  I'll have a proper look tomorrow!!

The radiator support is the main structural bit and has the one screw at the bottom and 2 either side. The apron is just cosmetic and was fitted to all golfs that were originally small bumpered.  Mind you if you havn't got an 'apron' then the fogs should fit in anyway......

Fair enough i suppose But what about the arch trims?? i mean the wheel arch liner, or whatever it's called, do you know what i mean?! I'm just thinking of selling them to be honest  £50 anyone?!
