vacum guage arrow light ?

Alright guys ?

Got in the car on a freezing cold morning up here (-4 ) and when I started driving the golf the arrow light on the vacum guage came on yellow, was wondering what this means as I have never seen it before ?

like I said, its supposed to light up to tell you to shift to the next gear?

Is this vacume guage you talk about a factory fit thing or an aftermarket add on?

From what I can see hes talking about the old type MPG gauge that was fitted on some models, it has a large arrow in the middle of it :)
