Well luckily for me, no labour charge. Good job too,
1. i did most of it,
2. it all went pete tong.
Got everything fitted, and whilst it was jacked up thought it best to check everything i could. checked the rear pads and there were bits of pad hanging off.
Ok so brakes apart. cleaned and new set of pads were fitted. Bled the brakes and everything was fine. Then let the car down and took it for a quick test drive.
What a racket, the top strut on the drivers side was making hell of a noise.
I then spent all afternoon trying to sort it, only to find the thread on the strut was about as hard as melted butter, and guess what happened, i stripped the bloody thread. Really not happy.
Oh well lets see what tommorow brings, get the new strut to fit in the morning, wish me luck.
