weak , was meant as a joke , plz dont remove, it actually did break down, just lost all power , no claging noises, think/hope its coil , -diz cap , or sum thang , electrical , and simple

just pissed me off , cause ive had 3 gti mk2s , and none have just cut out on me like that , especially when ure driving 2 local garage 2 fit ure new eagel f1ns , which u got 4r crimbo :cry:

:( still off the road ,  worked it down 2 either being the distributer ,a plug that is right up the back left hand side of bonnet under plastic cover, or the ecu is baked, ,would put my money on the (hall sender) inside the disstributer , any advice on prices and if its worth getting new 1n or ,scrappying it in the  snow ?

going along happily listening 2 led zep , then the engine just died , all revs dropped , and there was no noise or fore warning wat so ever ,

And from your name im guessing you drive a mk2 driver? Or is it a gti 8v or 16v?

oops sry i used 2 drive a driver , my car that is broken down is a lovely oak 3dr 16valver 1990 plate think its a k jetronic , and best bit is after wrking it down 2 they 3 possible problems , auto elecy is 2 busy . so if u live near cumbernauld in scotland .dont bother phoneing david mcgregor as he is a total ,w***
