........as realise that this post is in the wrong section how ever i am that desperate that i thought i would put the same post in here aswell!

I am after a weber replacement carb (or the equivilant of) for a 1800 scirocco! And need it asap! the pierburg thing is rubbish and idles at 3000 rpm!!

If anyone has one or knows of someone who does then please let me know, do a good deed!

^^ ah mate its doing my head in! when i turn the ignition off it pops and farts as its overfueling like a pig so you have to stall it to kill it! its not good!

how about some of the breakers such as volksapart etc they might offer a cost effective solution

my bloody car runs at 2000 until the fan kicks in when it gets really hot, then drops to about 1300 now whats all that about! does me sweed in! bloody audi throtle body!

^^^My valver used to do it at about 2 aswell until i meddled with the idle valve!

2.2 audi i think, got it off e-bay, goes well just runns poo, had it on and off loads trying to sort it out just cant seem to sort it! i dont understand why it runs fine once it has got really hot! grrrrrrrrrr  lol

I was thinking baout getting one for the valver. Is yours a 1600 or 1800?

But for now i need to get a bloody weber for the scirocco! been getting some stick at work and off my dad "another bloody car that doesnt work"
