its all down to personal taste matey, ive been thinking about having my mk4 done as i dont want any other modifcations, i think it will look ok mate as long as you dont go full on blackout!, ive been in a new range rover with well dark windows and its like having blinkers on! they deter you from looking through them and your always focus through the windscreen!, let me know how ya get on and how much! might ask santa!

I think cars are very colour dependant when it comes to tinting. The only colours that tinted windows suit, IMO, are black and silver cars. You are both lucky to have these colours. I would have it done if it was mine. It's nice for the extra security too, as you wont have people eyeing up your stereo or anything else left in it, as they walk by.
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture

I've got mine done. Youd be suprised how dark you can go and still see out ok, they're almost completely blacked out from outside but light inside. They look really good on black cars. I'd definately recommend getting them done profesionally though and steer clear of the stuff you get cheap from Halfords etc (How many cars/vans have you seen with bubbling tints, nothing looks worse!). Look in yellow pages, cost me about ?160 inc VAT and they came to my work and had it done within 3 hours (proper windows out job). Most professionals will give you a guarentee too Just gotta watch out for the Politze!! 8) 8)

Cost me 210, they did not take the rear windows out but i would say the defo took the front ones out, but its is such a good job you just can not tell, for the 5 door is cost 270 i believe cant honestly remember.

If you take the rear windows out of the 3dr golf if would end up costing more as the rubber seals would have to be replaced, the fixed windows have to be cut out.
