Mk 1 Golf GTi Look-a-like

hi,
i bought a mk1 golf driver bout a year a go, since then i have added all the gti body kit, wheels and interior but i now want it to look something special without spoiling the golf gti look or spending to much money!!!!  
Has neone got any ideas for me if so i would love to hear them

I prefer the single headlamp grill with the cross hair headlmps they really set the car off or some audi door handles, apart for helping on the security side of thing such a small modification makes all the difference asthetically

my 1.1 N golf is currently being panelled out with buckets etc, corrado dash and clocks, 14" steels, and other tricks, .....
yes honest its a 1.1..
