what is the sensor called in the door that sences that the door is open.. as mine is still playing up, just put a coat of wax on the car so i thought i'll listen to some music while i clean, so i unlock the car on the remote and open the drivers door and put the stereo on, 30sec later with the door still open the car tries to lock its self and the alarm starts going off.. sometimes ive noticed that when the drivers door is open the interior lights dont come on, but it doesnt do that all the time..

is it a simple, cheap thing replace???
