Anyone imported a new Mk1 citi golf from South africa?

aye same clocks mate but will be tricky to find some with low miles on, but fit in just same, i just made do with mine

I have just found a set of clocks from a Citi in a scrapy near me, only 64K on them and fitted nice into my GL. No buzzing, no lights flashing. As new

Only paid 25 notes for them with a the dash soround as mine was broken and a water pipe that i needed as mine burst

all done and sweet as a nut

Tucker  - luck bugger this will be the first thing i do, as it's for the missus and she will just get banned in a week driving it with km clocks

ECP do a leccy window kit for the mk1, dont know if it will be compatible with the citi golf though. Give Stuart a ring at ECP in Leeds (see deals and discounts section for 10% off).

Its near wokingham/shimfield in berkshire. called A1 or wokingham motors. dont know the road its on but im sure Rubjonny has more details as a contact number. I did have them some where as they have just taken my old mk2 will have a look.

No clocks tho, in my GL

Well i got here home today! 3 hours drive up 4 hours drive home, all is well, very happy, i so want a mk1 gti now it just so great and fun to drive and it's only a 1.3 carb! averaged 130 all the way home, Km that is

I have loads of questions, but i'll sus them out one by one and nag you lot
