You know about the story of waiting for a bus in London, and when one arrives the whole f**kin' depot arrives!!
Well, it's not as if the problem with my ideling (see 'Umm, trouble with ideling' link) was too much for me to handle but jusst to add to my misery I was welcomed with the whole of my floor being drenched in water! I pressume my matrix has somehow blown! my LUCK!
Now what would you do if you were in my situation?
1) Fix the ideling problem first (p.s. I drove the car 3miles with the ISV valve cable-tied closed, and it rode ok...does that mean that my ISV is screwed or do you think i am missing the bigger picture and hiding another problem////trust me i have gone through everything it could be (please see the idle link - Umm- Trouble with my idleing).
2) Now pay attention to the water on my floor (and invest in some goldfishes, somewhere for them to swim!!). it must be the matrix as my heater (and even the fan for cold air ) doesnt work! also when i got in the car the windscreen was really really wet from the inside. I thought it wont be the matrix but rather there may be a leak from the s/roof. but then if i really think about it (going back to my days in school!) i think that the water from the floor must have evaporated

and accumilated on the windsheild! Intellegent guess or do you think im again, missing the bigger picture.

3) Drive my Gti to the nearest cliff and drop it (must have to go to Southend then!!)
Guys, obviously i love my Gti and would never send it off a cliff but to be honest im starting to lose my patience. I drove the car for the first time in 3 months and man did it send that 'feel-good' factor down my spine. I have a motorbike to get around (Yamaha R1) but its not the most ideal mode of transport as I freeze my nuts off! :embarassed: I really have to get my car sorted. Mayb i will have to give it to a garage to sort it all out (any ideas of a good garage in Essex!).

lets actually hold a bet: any guesses to the next thing to go wrong with my Gti (even before I fix the idleing and matrix problems!
Speedy.
