Congratulations Miromen, your car looks fantastic! How are you finding the drive in comparison to your previous golf?

Any regrets not specifying the Performance Pack?

I have only driven a few kilometers so I don't want to rate it yet.
However, I didn't expect such good comfort/smoothness from the chassis. It's no worse than the standard pre-facelift GTI on 18"

I preferred everyday use.
That's why I didn't think about PP.

I’d have been the same to be honest.
The red tipped wheels and black exhaust are unique to the Ed50 and the suspension should be a tad more useable for standard (quick) road car use so I’d have stuck with a regular non PP version.

I have information and the message from internal vw showing exactly where and how to fit the limited edition plaques and it is only 1000 units this plaque is the one they are used, they say that once the build has a bin number the numbered plaques get automatically issued and sent out to the supplying dealers, 100% 1-1000 and numbered car

Are you able to share this info, where it is going, right hand side glove box area?

Lovely photos miromen, looks cracking. Congrats!

Car now with my local dealer and I had their teaser video :) unfortunately I won’t be picking it up for a week though due to detailing diary. No news on the limited plaque though….
