**Sold** MK7/7.5 DSG paddles
« on: 06 October 2025, 15:56 »
I had these fitted to my 7.5 TCR which I've now sold. They fitted really well and felt solid, they also matched very closely in colour and feel to the metal parts on the steering wheel giving them an OEM look. Having said that, I never did particularly get on with manual changes so they had very little use! Consequently they are in excellent condition and I doubt they could be distinguished from a new set.

I have some pictures since removal but the image hosting site isn't playing ball, I'll upload when I can or I can email them to anyone interested.

I paid around £20 for them a few years back, but don't think the low price means low quality! I'll take £10 posted for them which is virtually giving them away!

How do they fit on? Do you need to take off the plastic ones or do they go over them?

Very easy to fit, even for someone as hamfisted as me! The plastic ones are replaced and are only held on by a plastic pin accessible from underneath. You just turn the steering wheel to one side so you can see the underside of the paddles and the end of the pin is clearly visible. Easily pulled out with some thin pliers. Takes all of 5 minutes. There is a guide in the MK7 section although the images have been lost but you really don't need it.
