Wonder if anyone has experienced an issue I have... I have a mk 2 gti 8v and it seems to be losing throttle response a little too often. It's usually mid drive, so I could be at 30 or 40mph driving normally and suddenly... No response.. My foot could be down to the floor and nothing seems to happen. I need to turn the car off and on at least 2 times, which I guess resets the ecu for it actually work normally again. I did think it was a blockage in fuel lines or something along that line but as I said, once the car is switched off and on at least twice, the throttle and revs are back to normal which leads me to believe it's more electrical.
Anyone had this issue or have an idea what it could be?
