Mk.2 GTI 8V
« on: 26 August 2025, 14:07 »
I have a Tornado Red 1980 GTI 8V that I purchased last year.
Based in Cheshire and currently semi-retired.
It has a few minor niggles that I will be looking to get sorted over the next 12 months or so and so I'll be asking for advice!
Previously owned a J reg Mk.2 GTD plus MK4 estate ( POS) also in the family previously, Jade Green MK2 GTI, Mk3 1.6, Mk5 TDI, Polo 1.6.

Welcome Klanky
That’s a very tidy looking example going from the photo.
It’s great to see mk2’s still alive and kicking.
I had a few myself many years ago, bought at various times.
