I'm also running 225 on 8J rims, good to see I'm not alone. 235 is slightly too off-roady looking for me.

And 225/40s on 18s look too small to me.
One of the reason Mk7s look so good on 19 inch Prets is that the wheels and tyres fill the wheel arches well, and to match a 19 Pret set up with 18s you need 235/40s - and even then you are still (fractionally) smaller than the Prets. Take a look at your OZs again, you know I'm right ;)
Good thing we are all different :)

Damn you SRGTD!
I’ve now taken the centre caps off and lined them up with the valves.
What kind of pervert are you???
Wheels are getting a few comments with the words Alfa Romeo featuring.

  Ha ha! Welcome to the centre caps OCD club. Wait until you need new tyres……will you have a sleepless night worrying whether the tyre fitter will align the centre caps correctly with the tyre valve stems? Easy solution - remove your centre caps before going to the tyre fitting depot and refit them yourself when you get back home!. Also, if you have a physical volume / on-off knob on your infotainment unit, make sure the on-off symbol on the knob is correctly aligned. Quite a few posts on the forum from a few years back on the subject - either on the mk7 or mk6 forum board .

Agree that Queenstown alloys are bit Alfa-esque.
