Selling my Mk3.5 Golf Cabrio SOLD
« on: 20 April 2025, 19:45 »
I'm selling my mk3.5 Golf Cabrio, 1.6L, AFT.
151940 miles (this will go up slightly, as still drive)
TAX = 01/09/2025
MOT = 18/09/2025

I have owned her since 2018, done all the servicing & repairs myself, some of the work I've done can be found on this page https://www.facebook.com/share/g/166LcvwnAm/

Never let down, not once.

I've done a lot of work it this, including:

New valve stem seals
New piston rings
All Clcylinders checked for ovarity & tapering - All will within limits
New head gasket + head bolts
New water pump
New cambelt & auxiliary belts
New radiator & thermostat
New O/S brake caliper
New door locks
New complete gear linkage
New coilovers G-maxx
Leather rear seats and doorcards

All electric windows & hood (still like new) work, all instruments, dials & switches work, thatcham alarm and immobiliser.

Sound system: Custom fit 12" 1600watts Vibe sub with Juice Power Cap, DAB Aerial, hands free, JVC kd-db912bt head unit, Alpine dash and door speakers, boot fully soundproofed.

Hood cover, wind deflector, boonet bar, car cover.

Car care kit

All documents, booklets, paperwork and keys.

Car is 25yrs old now and the bodywork is starting to show it's age but still in very good condition, it has always beed kept in the garage & only comes out on hot & dry days.

Bad bits:

Leak in central locking pipes but still fully works

No key for glove box

Could do with a new air intake pipe, as had split where brether pipe connects

Hole in driver seat bolster.

Can be a bit chuggy/hunting on start up (been like this since I've had it)

I've price the car accordingly and fairly £1500 as I want to sell and get something else VW

Happy to answer all questions, test drive welcome.
