Had the same creaking noises and got the same “wear & tear get lost” response from VW. Also, read somewhere on Reddit that the creaking comes back even after warranty replacements.
Someone on Reddit also recommended drowning the front control arm bushings using a silicone lubricant spray, and it worked! It’s been a few weeks and I can finally go over speed bumps without that annoying creaking.
Quite simple to apply and you don’t even need to take the wheel off. Simply get yourself a Silicone lubricant, I used WD40 (
https://images.app.goo.gl/TMgq16HhcNAseaE97) and literally drown your bushings from every angle. Take it for a drive to let it soak in and you should notice the suspension doesn’t creak anymore.
That being said, this is likely something you’ll need to do once every 6-12 months and also depends on the condition of your bushings. Hope this helps!
