Well I suppose if you're going to crash into something, you might as well crash into a pub.  You could sink a few while waiting for the police.  Hold on, something tells me that might not be such a good idea after all  ::)

actually I was driving home 2 weeks after passing my test and wound her up to 100. she was only a little 1.0 ;D then went pass the 'hidden dip' sign and came out sideways. took it down the road hit the verge outside the pub tipping me onto my side (drivers side down). then slide 5 metres on the verge reducing their monument and 2 pub benches to nothing and wrapping it round their sign ;D
I then switched off the stereo that was still going (joy of tapes never jump), lights and ingition and stood up - on the drivers door. I couldn't open the door cos I'd bent the floor so I slowly wound down the passengers window smashing the glass as it came down and climbed out.
the people from the pub ran out wondering what that big bang was. they were all "you alright son?" I'm like "yeah fine thanks". They then took me in for coffee until my dad arrived in works recovery truck and towed me home.
my step-dad does have a photo of it afterward that I want so I can send it into Revs to get some free wheels ;D

it was like 4 years ago Slim. Grown up a bit since then. Still like to have a fast drive now and then in the golf, but at least it'll hold the road better than the 1.0 polo ;D

I knew Hiten would have something to say about 5 doors ;D

I've stuck with my 5 door for over 9 years now.  The only problem was that i had to pay double for the audi door handles.
